SURVIVAL TIPS Remember guys this is a picnic , not a BBQ. There are no grills, or any out door 'cooking' appliances allowed. You can bring prepared food and beverages. Coolers of all sizes are welcome. There will be food vendors on the ranch, as well. If you need to purchase items for your camping needs, there is an HEB Food Store, approximately 2 miles north of 969 (MLK) on Ed Bluestien (183), exit Manor Rd. This is a BYOB event , please feel free to bring your favorite ice cold beverage, or liquor. Upon needing to restock, remember that you passed up several convenient stores, including a liquor store, within 3 miles of the Ranch, on 969 (MLK).There will be absolutely no glass containers allowed on the property so if your going to bring liquor, make sure they come in plastic bottles or bring your own containers to change it out. (Please be respectful towards others and drink responsibly. If drinking makes you act like a jack ass, then DON'T FUCKING DRINK! This is a family event) Camp Out at your own risk. Be mindful of your surroundings and your kids. Set up your tents on level ground and try so stay in a clearing away from tall grass or bushes. Keep your area clean of food waste, because this will attract insects and critters. Some sinks, and showers will be provided, near The Ranch stage, but be sure to bring plenty of sanitizer and moist towelettes. (shower tickets are available for $2 each) Skate at your own risk. Please provide your own pads. There will be limited medical attention available for everyone at this event. Signatures for disclaimers will be required at the Half-Pipe area to drop from the ramp. Aid for injury or other emergencies will be provided, but limited in the form of a medical tent, security, and picnic staff. Let our staff know of any situations that might require immediate attention. For minor issues, remember to come prepared with antiseptics, skin care products, pain re leavers, bug repellant, etc. Parking will be provided and directed upon entry. |
